Cookie policy.

Introduction
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on c-2marketing.co.uk, what they do, and how you can choose which ones we use.
The website is run by We C2 Marketing Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17523176. Registered office: Goldcrest Lodge, Upper Hexgreave, Farnsfield, Newark, NG22 8LS. Part of the C2 Technology Group.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. It lets the website, or a service the website uses, recognise your device later.
Websites can also store information in your browser in other ways, such as local storage, or use small pieces of code called tags to send information about your visit to another service. In this policy, "cookies" includes these similar technologies.
Your choices
When you first visit our website, a banner asks whether you agree to cookies. It offers three buttons with equal prominence:
- Accept all turns on analytics and advertising cookies.
- Reject all keeps only the strictly necessary ones.
- Settings lets you choose analytics and advertising separately.
Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Before you make a choice, and if you reject, we use only strictly necessary storage.
You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page, or here: .
If you withdraw consent, analytics and advertising tags stop loading. Anything Snitcher stored in your browser is deleted straight away. Other cookies they have already set stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them. Most browsers let you see and delete cookies, and block some or all of them, in their settings. If you block strictly necessary storage, parts of the site may not work properly.
The law and our approach
Cookies are covered by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. Where cookies collect personal data, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 also apply.
The 2025 Act added some exemptions from the need for consent for certain low-risk cookies, for example some cookies used only to produce statistics that help improve a website, as long as you are told about them and can easily object. We do not rely on that exemption. We ask for your consent before using any analytics or advertising cookies.
The types of cookie we use
Strictly necessary
These are always on, because the website needs them to work and to stay secure. They do not need your consent. They are:
- the record of your cookie choice, so that we do not ask you on every page and so that your choice is respected
- security cookies set by Cloudflare, which delivers and protects this website, where Cloudflare needs them to tell people apart from automated traffic
Analytics
Analytics cookies are only used if you agree. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use our website, for example which pages they visit and whether they book a call, so that we can improve it.
Counting visits. Until you make a choice in our cookie banner, our web server tells Google Analytics that a page was viewed. It sends the page, the site you came from, your country, the type of device, and a code that changes every day, so we can count visits without identifying you. Nothing is stored on or read from your device for this. We do it because we have a legitimate interest in knowing how our website is used. If you choose Decline, it stops.
We also count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and only gives us totals. It stops if you choose Decline.
Advertising
Only used if you agree. We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether our Google adverts lead to people sending our booking form, booking a call or clicking our phone number. This helps us understand which adverts are worth paying for. The website does not record phone calls: only the click is counted.
We also use Snitcher, a B2B visitor identification service, only if you agree to advertising cookies. It identifies the company or organisation associated with your IP address, not you personally, and records which pages you visit and whether you send a form, so that we know which businesses are interested in our services. If you send our booking form after agreeing, we also pass Snitcher your name, email address and phone number, so that your enquiry is linked to your organisation's visit. Snitcher B.V. (Netherlands) does this for us as our data processor. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
The cookies on this website
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Category | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| c2-rm | This website | Remembers your choice to reduce motion. It is kept in your browser's local storage, not as a cookie. | Strictly necessary (remembers a choice you made) | Until you clear it |

| c2-utm_source, c2-utm_medium, c2-utm_campaign, c2-utm_term, c2-utm_content, c2-gclid | This website | Remembers which advert or campaign brought you to us, so it can be sent with your enquiry. | snitcher_device_id | Snitcher | Lets Snitcher recognise your browser on later visits, so that the pages you view can be linked to your organisation. It is kept as a cookie and in your browser's local storage, with a matching snitcher_device_id_expires entry. | Advertising | 12 months |
| snitcher_session | Snitcher | Groups the pages you view in one visit. It is kept in your browser's local storage, with a matching snitcher_session_expires entry. | Advertising | About an hour after your last activity |
| _gcl_aw | Google Ads | Stores the advert click identifier when you arrive from one of our Google adverts, so that the visit can be linked to the advert. | Advertising | 90 days |
The times shown for Google, Cloudflare and Snitcher cookies are those providers' standard settings, which they may change. Google may also set related cookies of its own, including on Google's own domains, as part of the same analytics and advertising services. These are covered by your choice in the same way.
Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode v2 to pass your choice to Google, so that Google's tags follow it. Google's tags for Analytics and Ads do not load in your browser until you agree to the relevant category. If you reject, or make no choice, they are not loaded. Before you make a choice, our web server counts page views for Google Analytics as described under Analytics above, and tells Google not to use them for advertising.
The booking calendar
After you send our booking form, you can pick a call time in a calendar provided by our booking tool. When the calendar loads, its provider may set its own cookies, which it needs to show the calendar and take your booking. We will list those cookies here once the tool is confirmed.
Possible future changes
We will update this policy whenever we change the cookies we use. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
