Introduction

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use c-2marketing.co.uk or get in touch with us, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

We only collect what we need to reply to you, arrange a call and run this website.

Who we are

We C2 Marketing Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17523176. Registered office: Goldcrest Lodge, Upper Hexgreave, Farnsfield, Newark, NG22 8LS. Part of the C2 Technology Group.

We C2 Marketing Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean We C2 Marketing Ltd.

You can contact us about this policy or your personal data:

The personal data we collect

When you book a call

Our booking form asks for:

  • your name
  • your business email address
  • your phone number
  • your website address (optional)

The form also sends some details about how you reached us, which you do not need to fill in. Unless you have accepted analytics or advertising cookies, these are read from the address of the page you are on and nothing is stored in your browser to collect them. These are:

  • the service you were looking at
  • the page on our site where you arrived
  • the website that referred you to us, if any
  • campaign details from the web address you used, known as UTM source, medium, campaign, term and content
  • the Google Ads click identifier (gclid), if you arrived by clicking one of our Google adverts

When you send the form, it is processed by our website, which is hosted on a UK-based web server run by the C2 group. Your details are stored there and emailed to our enquiry inbox, and we send you an automatic email to confirm we have received your request.

When you choose a call time

After you send the form, you can pick a time for your call in a calendar embedded on our page. This calendar is provided by our booking tool. It records the time you choose along with the contact details you give it, so that we can hold the call and send you a confirmation.

When you enter our launch draw

Our launch draw form asks for your business name, your name, your business postcode, your business email address and your phone number, and, if you're a sole trader or partnership, whether you'd like our news by email. We use these to run the draw: to check you can enter, to draw and contact the winner, and to send you the launch-price offer every entrant qualifies for. If you enter for a limited company or other incorporated business, we may email you our news and offers. We may call any entrant about our services, unless the number is on the Telephone Preference Service or Corporate TPS. You can opt out of either at any time. Entries made before 13:56 on 29 October 2026 only get these if they ticked the boxes. If you win, we publish your business name and town, unless you ask us not to.

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that each submission comes from a person, not a bot. Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum explains what it processes: https://www.cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy/

When you browse our website

Our website is delivered through Cloudflare, which provides a content delivery network and security services. Cloudflare, and our web server, process technical data such as your IP address, your browser type and the pages you request, so that the site can be delivered and protected from attacks and misuse.

If you agree to analytics or advertising cookies, Google Analytics and Google Ads collect data about how you use the site, such as the pages you visit and whether you send a form, book a call or click our phone number. These tools do not load in your browser unless you agree.

Until you make a choice in our cookie banner, our web server tells Google Analytics that a page was viewed, without cookies and without identifying you. It sends the page, the site you came from, your country, the type of device and a code that changes every day. If you reject analytics, it stops. Our cookie policy explains this in full.

We also count visits to this website with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn't track you across other websites. It tells us how many people visit, which pages they look at and which website sent them. It stops if you reject analytics.

If you agree to advertising cookies, we also use Snitcher, a B2B visitor identification service. It identifies the company or organisation associated with your IP address, not you personally, and records which pages you visit and whether you send a form. If you then send our booking form, we pass Snitcher your name, email address and phone number, so that your enquiry is linked to your organisation's visit.

When you phone or email us

If you phone or email us, we keep the details you give us so that we can deal with your enquiry.

This website does not record phone calls. If you have agreed to analytics or advertising cookies, we count a click on our phone number as a contact, but nothing about the call itself is captured by the website.

How we use your data and our lawful basis

Data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for each use of your personal data. These are ours:

  • Replying to your booking request, arranging and holding your call, and sending you a confirmation email. Our legitimate interests in responding to people who ask to hear from us. Where you are acting for yourself, for example as a sole trader, we also rely on taking steps you have asked for before entering into a contract.
  • Understanding which pages, adverts and campaigns bring us enquiries, using the details the form sends about how you reached us. Our legitimate interests in knowing which of our marketing works, so we can spend our budget sensibly.
  • Keeping the website secure and stopping spam, through Cloudflare and our web server. Our legitimate interests in protecting our website, our systems and our visitors.
  • Analytics and advertising measurement through Google Analytics and Google Ads, and identifying which organisations visit our website through Snitcher. Your consent, which you give or refuse in our cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.
  • Counting visits before you make a cookie choice, from our web server, with nothing stored on or read from your device. Our legitimate interests in knowing how our website is used.
  • Sending you marketing emails, and calling draw entrants. Your consent where you ticked the box; otherwise our legitimate interests in telling businesses about our services. You can object at any time.
  • Delivering work, if you become a client. Performance of our contract with you or your organisation, or our legitimate interests where the contract is with your organisation rather than with you.
  • Keeping records we are required to keep, such as tax and accounting records, and responding to lawful requests from authorities. Legal obligation.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed our interests against yours, and you have the right to object (see "Your rights").

Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails, such as news or offers, if you opt in, or if you entered our launch draw for a limited company or other incorporated business. Any box asking for this is never ticked for you, and booking a call does not sign you up.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us. Unsubscribing does not affect any call or work you have already arranged with us.

Who we share your data with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with the following, and only for the purposes in this policy:

  • Our web hosting, a UK-based web server run by the C2 group, which runs this website and processes the booking form.
  • Cloudflare, which delivers and protects this website and processes IP addresses to do so, and which checks our forms for spam through Turnstile.
  • Google, for Google Analytics and Google Ads, only if you consent to those cookies, and for counting visits from our web server before you make a choice, without identifying you.
  • Snitcher B.V. (Netherlands), for B2B visitor identification, only if you consent to advertising cookies.
  • The provider of our booking tool, which holds the call times you book.
  • SendGrid (part of Twilio), which sends the emails confirming your entry or booking.
  • Other companies in the C2 Technology Group (We C2 IT, We C2 Software and We C2 Automation), only where that is needed to deliver the service you asked us about.
  • Professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement or courts, where the law requires it or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Our service providers act on our instructions and must keep your data secure.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of our providers, such as Google, Microsoft and SendGrid, may process personal data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected in one of the ways UK law allows: regulations made by the UK government approving transfers to that country (often called adequacy regulations), the International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses. You can contact us for more information about the safeguards that apply.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it:

  • Booking requests and enquiries that do not lead to work: 24 months after our last contact with you.
  • Call bookings held in our booking tool: 24 months after the call.
  • Launch draw entries: 12 months after the draw, unless you ticked to hear from us.
  • Client records: for as long as we work together, then 6 years after the work ends.
  • Tax and accounting records: 6 years from the end of the financial year they relate to.
  • Marketing email permissions: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep your email address on a "do not contact" list so that we respect your choice.
  • Google Analytics data: 14 months.
  • Snitcher visitor data: up to 12 months.
  • The daily code our web server uses to count visits: deleted when the day ends.
  • Technical and security logs on our web server: up to 90 days.
  • Your cookie choice: 12 months, after which we ask you again.

How we keep your data safe

This website is served over an encrypted connection. We limit access to personal data to the people who need it to do their job, and we use technical and organisational measures that are appropriate to the risk to protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your data
  • ask us to restrict how we use your data
  • object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests
  • object at any time to direct marketing, which we will always respect
  • ask for data you gave us in a portable format, where we rely on consent or a contract
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

Some of these rights apply only in certain circumstances. To use any of them, contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month. If your request is complex, we may need up to two more months, and we will tell you if so.

You can withdraw consent for cookies at any time: . Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did with your consent before you withdrew it.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary storage to make the site work and remember your cookie choice. We only use analytics and advertising cookies if you agree. Our cookie policy lists every cookie and explains how to change your choice.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. If we make a significant change, we will make it clear on this website.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first so that we can try to put it right. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and respond without undue delay.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection:
